The audience was convinced that Adriel Argandoña's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Muc was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. 33 minutes into the game, Algarrobo's Desiderio Marti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 53rdth minute of the game Feliciano Jaunti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Algarrobo's Petr Čech was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Independiente were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Algarrobo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariano Gorosti took the corner. Mariano Gorosti made a great header on Independiente's corner, it was just that Algarrobo's Petr Čech managed to reach the ball for a save. 57 minutes into the match, Algarrobo's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Gorosti came free, but Petr Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Though ot was a great shot Algarrobo's keeper Petr Čech was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 74 minutes into the match, Algarrobo's goalkeeper Petr Čech had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliciano Jaunti. The supporters of Algarrobo booed when Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Carlomagno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nemesio Carlomagno kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute Francisco Idoate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Muc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Idoate took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Muc. Christian Muc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Feliciano Jauntis short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Petr Čech to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 94 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Amado Pacorro. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Algarrobo had won after a very even match.
