Rathmore Lime Tree were furious when Christophe Reibel was red carded, 12 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 12 minutes into the game, one of Rathmore Lime Tree:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rathmore Lime Tree:s Sofyane Valognes showed great skill when he stopped Alexander Mendoza:s penalty. If Gökberk Özgenc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gökberk Özgenc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Gökberk Özgenc's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sofyane Valognes was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 30th minute, Alexander Mendoza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Westra Aros SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Rathmore Lime Tree's zone, Gökberk Özgenc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sofyane Valognes came out of the goal and Gökberk Özgenc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Rathmore Lime Tree made a substitution. Jim Belloir replaced Fernand Rouland. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adil Magaud to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Westra Aros SK's Ismael Jenaro got a free kick in the 61st minute. Westra Aros SK's Normando Portillo was substituted for Patrik Wacherhausen. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute, Westra Aros SK's Gökberk Özgenc ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sofyane Valognes. Sofyane Valognes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. 76 minutes into the game, Bilal Hédin threw the ball into play from the sideline. Westra Aros SK's Jörn Hylander quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 77th minute, Ismael Jenaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sofyane Valognes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gökberk Özgenc in the 79th minute of the match. Sofyane Valognes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Jenaro in the 81st minute of play. After 84 minutes, Gökberk Özgenc made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Rathmore Lime Tree's Sofyane Valognes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 87 minutes into the match, Rathmore Lime Tree's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Jenaro came free, but Sofyane Valognes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bilal Hédin kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The supporters of Westra Aros SK booed when Rathmore Lime Tree was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim Belloir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gökberk Özgenc struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Sofyane Valognes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Westra Aros SK. Éloi Le Calvez's late challenge caught a Westra Aros SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Éloi Le Calvez helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rathmore Lime Tree's Éloi Le Calvez got a free kick in the 94th minute. Rathmore Lime Tree's Sofyane Valognes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Rathmore Lime Tree from getting a goal against them. Westra Aros SK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
