Spectators: 7711 (Terracing: 5785, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Erasmo Martins took the kick off in the first half of the match. Oscar Dimas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitório Andrade having to interfere. If Cesinha Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th match minute, Dinamo Colorado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Slaviša Macanović to maneuver through the defense. Segundo Maule came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Dinamo Colorado's André Luís das Neves. But to his dismay, André Luís das Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Dino Gonçalves hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. André Luís das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Maule having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Dinamo Colorado's André Luís das Neves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Segundo Maule narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Dinamo Colorado's Erasmo Martins in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jesus Turi got free with Vitório Andrade in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erasmo Martins in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Segundo Maule saved Sportivo Constitución from getting behind. In the 46th minute, André Luís das Neves made a precise shot to the right of Segundo Maule. Sportivo Constitución's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After the first half Dinamo Colorado were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

52 minutes into the game, Jesus Turi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Vitório Andrade was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sportivo Constitución's Rodolfo Cordara got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Segundo Maule was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Erasmo Martins capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Erasmo Martins really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Vitório Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Turi in the 64th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgard Francis during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sportivo Constitución's Patricio Savier was substituted for Remigio Roldan. The supporters of Dinamo Colorado booed when Sportivo Constitución was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Francis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Segundo Maule made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Martins in the 79th minute of play. Eleuterio Odilon kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The supporters of Dinamo Colorado booed when Sportivo Constitución was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Odilon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jesus Turi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Vitório Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Perivaldo Fonseca could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Segundo Maule however easily saved by the left post. Vitório Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Telo, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Segundo Maule stood somewhat misplaced when Osvaldo Simões came free in front of goal and shot 2-4 to the left of him in the 95 minute. The Dinamo Colorado supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dinamo Colorado would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
