After a rather tough play, Rathmore Lime Tree's Adil Magaud got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute Adil Magaud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Blomkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Olof Duset in the 38th minute of play forced Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper Sofyane Valognes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Blomkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hervé Annette in the 44th minute of the match. When Markus Wenerdahl fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MaLe FC's protests and gave Markus Wenerdahl a yellow card for diving instead. Markus Wenerdahl hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adil Magaud made a kick off. In the 56th match minute, Rathmore Lime Tree was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Éloi Le Calvez to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Blomkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karim Cosme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Blomkvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 82nd match minute, Rathmore Lime Tree was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christophe Reibel to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, MaLe FC's Zebastian Sörman broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adil Magaud during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 played minutes Rathmore Lime Tree got a freekick which was hit by Adil Magaud. Rathmore Lime Tree's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
