The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Socjopaci getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Piotr Bartoszek hit a great ball. Zygmunt Gerlach was a little too slow when Cédric Payen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codruț Podgoreanu in the 17th minute of play forced Socjopaci's goalkeeper Zygmunt Gerlach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Cédric Payen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zygmunt Gerlach. Zygmunt Gerlach yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cédric Payen in the 25th minute of play forced Socjopaci's goalkeeper Zygmunt Gerlach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Codruț Podgoreanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Zygmunt Gerlach was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 29 minutes into the match, Socjopaci's goal looked a bit too open when Codruț Podgoreanu came free, but Zygmunt Gerlach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Cédric Payen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. Sergiu Cobâlcescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olaf Banaszak in the 38th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Cédric Payen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minerul Baita -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Cédric Payen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zygmunt Gerlach breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eugeniusz Mnich ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cédric Payen made a kick off. Zygmunt Gerlach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codruț Podgoreanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Sergiu Cobâlcescu came out of the goal and Olaf Banaszak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zygmunt Gerlach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucian Bologa, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Cédric Payen notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Socjopaci's Zygmunt Gerlach. Zygmunt Gerlach was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Minerul Baita -MM- made a substitution. Victor Lupeanu replaced Ivan Herescu. Minerul Baita -MM-'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
