Reino Annama showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Rudqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Christian Thorsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Svante Sigman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Golden Lions FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vormsi Vald the free kick. In the 39th minute, Svante Sigman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st match minute, Vormsi Vald was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hardi Laanemets to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Christian Thorsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golden Lions FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Thorsberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reino Annama breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hardi Laanemets charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hardi Laanemets the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Vormsi Vald's Hardi Laanemets got a free kick in the 45th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vormsi Vald's zone, Axel Samuelsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reino Annama came out of the goal and Axel Samuelsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Allan Rudqvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Svante Sigman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Erik Valström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reino Annama having to interfere. When Allan Rudqvist came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Golden Lions FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Allan Rudqvist couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vormsi Vald's goalkeeper Reino Annama, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sven-Erik Valström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reino Annama read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Reino Annama showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Erik Valström, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Axel Samuelsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Reino Annama made a huge save. Eikki Vaagen hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After 93 played minutes Vormsi Vald got a freekick which was hit by Eikki Vaagen. When Allan Rudqvist fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Golden Lions FC's protests and gave Allan Rudqvist a yellow card for diving instead. Allan Rudqvist hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match.
