Spectators: 7740 (Terracing: 5806, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cédric Payen kicked off to start the match. Zygmunt Gerlach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cédric Payen in the 3rd minute of play. After 5 minutes of play, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Dudu Georgescu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zygmunt Gerlach was left in no man's land by his defense there! 8 minutes into the match, Socjopaci's goal looked a bit too open when Codruț Podgoreanu came free, but Zygmunt Gerlach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Lucian Bologa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zygmunt Gerlach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zygmunt Gerlach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codruț Podgoreanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucian Bologa during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lucian Bologa kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Minerul Baita -MM-'s zone, Olaf Banaszak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergiu Cobâlcescu came out of the goal and Olaf Banaszak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zygmunt Gerlach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codruț Podgoreanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Cédric Payen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Zygmunt Gerlach was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 20 minutes into the match, Cédric Payen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zygmunt Gerlach. Socjopaci's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cédric Payen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 24 minutes into the match, Socjopaci's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Georgescu came free, but Zygmunt Gerlach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vintilă Puișoru charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vintilă Puișoru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th minute, Vintilă Puișoru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute, Vintilă Puișoru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zygmunt Gerlach was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Zygmunt Gerlach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vintilă Puișoru in the 32nd minute of the match. Lucian Bologa scored 0-5 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zygmunt Gerlach, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dudu Georgescu in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zygmunt Gerlach saved Socjopaci from getting behind. In the 40th minute Vintilă Puișoru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zygmunt Gerlach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute Minerul Baita -MM- were awarded a corner. Eugeniusz Mnich went to the cornerflag to take it. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Eugeniusz Mnich was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zygmunt Gerlach in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ivan Herescu took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zygmunt Gerlach. Zygmunt Gerlach dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Codruț Podgoreanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zygmunt Gerlach having to make a save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olaf Banaszak to make the kick off. After 53 minutes of play Minerul Baita -MM-'s Lucian Bologa was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Minerul Baita -MM- getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Lucian Bologa hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dudu Georgescu got free with Zygmunt Gerlach in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Socjopaci's Zygmunt Gerlach got control of the ball when Cédric Payen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 58 played minutes Cédric Payen rounded Socjopaci's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-7. Socjopaci's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. In the 72nd match minute, Socjopaci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olaf Banaszak to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Socjopaci getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Olaf Banaszak hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the game, Bartlomiej Kasprzykowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. It was Eugeniusz Mnich who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Minerul Baita -MM-'s corner Eugeniusz Mnich fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zygmunt Gerlach quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Minerul Baita -MM-'s Cédric Payen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zygmunt Gerlach. That made the score 0-9 after 89 minutes of play. Minerul Baita -MM- made a substitution. Frank Miner replaced Dudu Georgescu. Cédric Payen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Zygmunt Gerlach made a huge save. In the 95th match minute, Socjopaci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartlomiej Kasprzykowski to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, Cédric Payen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zygmunt Gerlach. Socjopaci's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cédric Payen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. Minerul Baita -MM-'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
