The audience thought a goal was coming when Sakis Kaberis got free with Adrian Dalberg in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind GREEN LIONS's goalkeeper Antonis Maltezos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vännäsby BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Vykan Clicker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. August Mellbad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonis Maltezos having to interfere. If Vykan Clicker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonis Maltezos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vykan Clicker in the 92nd minute. After 94 minutes GREEN LIONS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Staffan Bivall who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Staffan Bivall almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GREEN LIONS's Antonis Maltezos did a great save.
