In the 24th minute, Piotr Majewski made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Hørbøll. Hvam FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. With a little luck, Powiśle Warszawa's Bogdan Zatorski got control of the ball when Walentin Barnby tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hugo Hørbøll showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeusz Pionek in the 32nd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Hvam FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeusz Pionek came free, but Hugo Hørbøll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Powiśle Warszawa's Bogdan Zatorski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Habakkuk Shearer in the 38th minute of play. If Zekeriya Özbekkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadeusz Pionek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zekeriya Özbekkan was the one to do the kick off. Hvam FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Piotr Majewski 53 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. Hugo Hørbøll showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomil Haszczak in the 57th minute of the match. Hvam FC's Hugo Hørbøll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piotr Majewski in the 58th minute of play. In the 58th minute Piotr Majewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Hørbøll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Hvam FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Struborg to maneuver through the defense. If Witold Fiszer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Berthold Sibbern during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, Hvam FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berthold Sibbern to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Powiśle Warszawa booed when Hvam FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Struborg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 81 played minutes, Powiśle Warszawa's Piotr Majewski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hugo Hørbøll came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Powiśle Warszawa reached it. After a rather tough play, Hvam FC's Kjeld Sterum got a free kick in the 83rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Piotr Majewski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hugo Hørbøll. That made the score 1-4 in the 88 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeusz Pionek in the 93rd minute of play forced Hvam FC's goalkeeper Hugo Hørbøll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
