In the 19th minute, GREEN LIONS's Dimitris Panagiotakis seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dimitris Panagiotakis the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of GREEN LIONS protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dimitris Panagiotakis had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in GREEN LIONS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! In the 33rdth minute of the game Niclas Österberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GREEN LIONS's Antonis Maltezos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 34 minutes into the match, GREEN LIONS's goal looked a bit too open when Niclas Österberg came free, but Antonis Maltezos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 35 minutes, Sakis Kaberis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GREEN LIONS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sakis Kaberis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niclas Österberg in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonis Maltezos saved GREEN LIONS from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sakis Kaberis got free with Aaron Bergqvist in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antonis Maltezos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Kellbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Niclas Österberg was the one to do the kick off. GREEN LIONS's Antonis Maltezos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save GREEN LIONS from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, DIF LEEDS BK's Holger Lidström got a free kick in the 57th minute. GREEN LIONS's Thanos Katsafanas pulled a muscle in his back after 58 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hampus Tolsson during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 played minutes DIF LEEDS BK got a freekick which was hit by Hampus Tolsson. Niclas Österberg hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Sakis Kaberis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Bergqvist having to interfere. Antonis Maltezos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niclas Österberg in the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Ntinos Samaras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the game, Osvald Samuelsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DIF LEEDS BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GREEN LIONS the free kick. The supporters of GREEN LIONS booed when DIF LEEDS BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvald Samuelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Although GREEN LIONS had been in control for most of the match, DIF LEEDS BK still came away with the win.
