The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Fernández got free with Nunez Astudillo in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Fabián Estoyanoff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 9 minutes into the match, Ensenada's goal looked a bit too open when Fabián Estoyanoff came free, but Nunez Astudillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Refugio hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Natalio Cachurro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nunez Astudillo, 2-0. After 25 played minutes Deportivo Peñarol FIFV got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Cachurro. In the 25th minute of the match Benicio Mateo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ladislao Mazurkiewicz skillfully saved the ball. Nunez Astudillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tristan Alderete in the 27th minute of the match. Nunez Astudillo made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Juan Manuel Olivera sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute, Natalio Cachurro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nunez Astudillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Ensenada's Nunez Astudillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Villafuentes in the 36th minute of play. In the 45th minute Fabián Estoyanoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nunez Astudillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Benicio Mateo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Higinio Luzea was the one to do the kick off. Nunez Astudillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The shot was stopped by Ladislao Mazurkiewicz but with some difficulty. When the referee ended the match the Deportivo Peñarol FIFV players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
