The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Fabiano Leão in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diogo Ferraz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 7th minute, Landulfos FC's Sergio Martins dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Edmundo Falcão was a little too slow when Arlindo Vargas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 2-0. 21 minutes into the match, Joinville City - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Durvalino de Lima came free, but Edmundo Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Landulfos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durvalino de Lima to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Landulfos FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Thomás de Barros hit a great ball. Arlindo Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Landulfos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fabiano Leão came free, but Diogo Ferraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Sergio Martins could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Edmundo Falcão however easily saved by the left post. Sergio Martins took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmundo Falcão. Edmundo Falcão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 41st match minute, Joinville City - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Guilherme Rosa to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Edmundo Falcão got control of the ball when Thomás de Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicolas Cunha during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Landulfos FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Nicolas Cunha hit a great ball. Diogo Ferraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Paulo Ferreira in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Fabiano Leão was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Landulfos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fabiano Leão came free, but Diogo Ferraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 53 minutes into the game, Ali Kürşat Uma cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. When Joinville City - FSCMZ's Luís Paulo Ferreira in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sergio Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmundo Falcão having to interfere. Joinville City - FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luís Paulo Ferreira in the 71st minute. Cleiton Sarmento tried in the 71st minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Diogo Ferraz a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 4-1. With a little luck, Landulfos FC's Diogo Ferraz got control of the ball when Luiz Fabiano Leão tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Nicolas Cunha was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. Nicolas Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Filipe Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Ali Kürşat Uma cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Edmundo Falcão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Diogo Ferraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Rossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Edmundo Falcão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Kürşat Uma in the 88th minute of play. Landulfos FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
