Antonello Mariano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beppe Ricciuti hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FC Maci -MM-'s Nicolae Pădureanu got a free kick in the 20th minute. Yazeed Al Abdullah scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antonello Mariano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adolfo Abar was a little too slow when Adriano Ottaviani got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-2. Ovidiu Encuțu struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Antonello Mariano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Maci -MM-. FC Maci -MM- were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after San Felice a Ema U.L.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hortêncio Curvelo took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Hortêncio Curvelo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Antonello Mariano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. FC Maci -MM- were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after San Felice a Ema U.L.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hortêncio Curvelo took the corner. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Edoardo Della Rocca's late challenge caught a FC Maci -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edoardo Della Rocca hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, San Felice a Ema U.L.'s goal looked a bit too open when Luca Udurbac came free, but Antonello Mariano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
