The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tiago Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Regis having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Jonathan Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flying Dutch's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidoro Regis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Atletico Saladillo FC's Isidoro Regis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor de Salles in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Jeronimo Loiola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Atletico Saladillo FC's Arthur Amorim threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hector Ferrer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ambrosio Odon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Arthur Amorim skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 33 played minutes Flying Dutch got a freekick which was hit by Zé Pedro Montenegro. Isidoro Regis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Correia in the 37th minute of the match. Isidoro Regis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Pedro Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute Zé Pedro Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Regis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Arthur Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Odon in the 56th minute of play. Hector Ferrer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Amorim having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Atletico Saladillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victor de Salles came free, but Isidoro Regis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 minutes, Jeronimo Loiola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico Saladillo FC and the Flying Dutch players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Atletico Saladillo FC's Jeronimo Loiola got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 77th match minute, Atletico Saladillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Ferrer to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Atletico Saladillo FC booed when Flying Dutch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael das Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flying Dutch's Arthur Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Ferrer in the 89th minute of play. Jonathan Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Isidoro Regis made a huge save. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Atletico Saladillo FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Flying Dutch for much of the match.
