After 6 played minutes FC Maci -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Hortêncio Curvelo. In the 7th match minute, FC Maci -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gigel Seremet to maneuver through the defense. Adolfo Abar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zézinho Vargas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 9 played minutes FC Maci -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Ovidiu Encuțu. After a rather tough play, FC Maci -MM-'s Nicolae Pădureanu got a free kick in the 14th minute. A collision led to FC Maci -MM- getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Luca Udurbac hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Fernandinho Loureiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Scarlet Speedster fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ovidiu Encuțu during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernandinho Loureiro to make the kick off.
