With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernandinho Loureiro in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arthur Amorim saved Flying Dutch from getting behind. Marcel Camargo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 5 minutes into the game, Flying Dutch's Marcel Camargo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eurico Diniz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernandinho Loureiro in the 11th minute of play forced Flying Dutch's goalkeeper Arthur Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ismael das Neves hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Flying Dutch's Arthur Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Flying Dutch from getting a goal against them. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Flying Dutch's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zézinho Vargas was slow to take the kick. During this time Scarlet Speedster's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Zézinho Vargas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Flying Dutch's Arthur Amorim did a great save. After a rather tough play, Flying Dutch's Ismael das Neves got a free kick in the 28th minute. Arthur Amorim acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 29th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Zézinho Vargas. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernandinho Loureiro got free with Arthur Amorim in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the match, Romário Ceresso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arthur Amorim. Flying Dutch's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romário Ceresso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 38 minutes into the match, Scarlet Speedster's goal looked a bit too open when Victor de Salles came free, but Eurico Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eurico Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Fonseca in the 40th minute of the match. Jonathan Fonseca took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eurico Diniz. Eurico Diniz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Zé Pedro Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Arthur Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernandinho Loureiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonathan Fonseca to make the kick off. Jonathan Fonseca charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Fonseca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonathan Fonseca hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Paulo Renato Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Zézinho Vargas scored 2-2 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arthur Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 58th minute, Luís Gustavo Bertassi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 played minutes Scarlet Speedster got a freekick which was hit by Romário Ceresso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinaldo Maia in the 66th minute of play forced Flying Dutch's goalkeeper Arthur Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Scarlet Speedster's Fernandinho Loureiro in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Flying Dutch's goalie prevented a goal. In the 76th match minute, Flying Dutch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thiago de Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. Eurico Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Camargo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Scarlet Speedster's Eurico Diniz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Scarlet Speedster from getting a goal against them. Ismael das Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Romário Ceresso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Amorim having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
