Spectators: 7745 (Terracing: 5810, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 154) Jonathan Fonseca started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 7 minutes into the game, FC Maci -MM-'s Vladimir Lenin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arthur Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladimir Lenin got free with Arthur Amorim in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ovidiu Encuțu's late challenge caught a Flying Dutch's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ovidiu Encuțu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Maci -MM-'s Ovidiu Encuțu got a free kick in the 19th minute. Victor de Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Abar having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, FC Maci -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hortêncio Curvelo to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute of the match FC Maci -MM- got a corner. Flying Dutch's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hortêncio Curvelo ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 30th minute, Luca Udurbac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FC Maci -MM- getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Gigel Seremet hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Jonathan Fonseca made a precise shot to the right of Adolfo Abar. FC Maci -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Hortêncio Curvelo made a great header on FC Maci -MM-'s corner, it was just that Flying Dutch's Arthur Amorim managed to reach the ball for a save. Adolfo Abar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Victor de Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, FC Maci -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Victor de Salles came free, but Adolfo Abar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vladimir Lenin made a kick off. When Zé Pedro Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Flying Dutch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Pedro Montenegro couldn't finish the play. Ismael das Neves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Adolfo Abar made a huge save. In the 66th minute, Flying Dutch's Ismael das Neves ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adolfo Abar. Adolfo Abar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. Ismael das Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Maci -MM- were furious when Gigel Seremet was red carded, 76 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Lenin in the 80th minute of play forced Flying Dutch's goalkeeper Arthur Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ismael das Neves might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adolfo Abar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ismael das Neves ran back to his position shaking his head. 91 minutes into the match, FC Maci -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Ismael das Neves came free, but Adolfo Abar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Ismael das Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
