Spectators: 7665 (Terracing: 5750, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 153) Virgilio Elija came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ponte do Carro's Alexandre Lucena. But to his dismay, Alexandre Lucena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 4th match minute, Ponte do Carro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesualdo Soveral to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, Jesualdo Soveral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Ralondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heitor Horta having to interfere. Alexandre Lucena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mateus Quaresma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Virgilio Elija tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heitor Horta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Ralondo in the 23rd minute of play. Virgilio Elija showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Altino Guerreiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moisés Nogueira in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgilio Elija saved Masters United F.C. from getting behind. Masters United F.C.'s Virgilio Elija played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Lucena in the 40th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Ramond got free with Heitor Horta in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Ponte do Carro's Moisés Nogueira got a free kick in the 45th minute. If Moisés Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Altino Guerreiro was the one to do the kick off. Altino Guerreiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Virgilio Elija tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ponte do Carro's Heitor Horta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Ralondo in the 55th minute of play. The long shot by Vladimiro Corte-Real in the 57th minute really tested Virgilio Elija's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ponte do Carro's zone, Paulo Ralondo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Heitor Horta came out of the goal and Paulo Ralondo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 61 played minutes Masters United F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Rudolfo. Altino Guerreiro took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgilio Elija. Virgilio Elija dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Ademar Figueiras took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgilio Elija. Masters United F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Alexandre Lucena scored to the left of an out of position Virgilio Elija, making the score, 0-4. In the 85thth minute of the game Altino Guerreiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Masters United F.C.'s Virgilio Elija was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Virgilio Elija was a little too slow when Altino Guerreiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 0-6. After some careless play in the Masters United F.C. defense, Altino Guerreiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Virgilio Elija. The Masters United F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virgilio Elija should have stopped the shot. The Masters United F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ponte do Carro's performance. The match ended with a win for Ponte do Carro.
