Adam Zacharczyk's late challenge caught a CRUZ DEL SUR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adam Zacharczyk helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of CRUZ DEL SUR booed when Mauro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Zacharczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lorenzo Mella's late challenge caught a Mauro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lorenzo Mella helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute, Lorenzo Mella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 played minutes Mauro got a freekick which was hit by Fryderyk Orling. Juan Manuel Vlahovic could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Zeng Di Ang made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Rafał Wern managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mauro's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafał Wern was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godofredo Mac Intyre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Podador Arraño hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the CRUZ DEL SUR defense, Rafał Wern kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Godofredo Mac Intyre. The CRUZ DEL SUR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Godofredo Mac Intyre should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute, Sisebuto Matetich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Godofredo Mac Intyre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Lundblad in the 39th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in CRUZ DEL SUR fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! Rafał Wern struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Godofredo Mac Intyre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mauro. After the first half Mauro were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafał Wern to strike the kick off in the second half. Sisebuto Matetich kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. With a little luck, CRUZ DEL SUR's Godofredo Mac Intyre got control of the ball when Rafał Wern tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rafał Wern's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Godofredo Mac Intyre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Ignacio Berguecio in the 61st minute of play forced Mauro's goalkeeper Zeng Di Ang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeng Di Ang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Zamorano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Adam Zacharczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Rafał Wern could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Godofredo Mac Intyre however easily saved by the left post. Zeng Di Ang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xulián Artaño in the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Zenon Olszewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aaron Zamorano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stefan Lundblad hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mauro's zone, Lorenzo Mella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeng Di Ang came out of the goal and Lorenzo Mella tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adam Zacharczyk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 88th minute of the match Adam Zacharczyk completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Adam Zacharczyk a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Mauro getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Adam Zacharczyk hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, Carlos Alberto Kowalesko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mauro eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
