Spectators: 7732 (Terracing: 5800, Seating: 1778, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fabian Lundström kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes FC Kurdistan got a freekick which was hit by Marco Lio. In the 3rd minute, Tzanko Papukchiev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mats Elg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iskren Nikolchov in the 8th minute of play forced FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Mats Elg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 minutes of play, Cup2's Tzanko Papukchiev made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mats Elg was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Asen Shavarski in the 13th minute of play forced FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Mats Elg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabian Lundström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute of the match Ivan Tabakov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mats Elg skillfully saved the ball. In the 18th minute Bocho Maystorov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Elg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Allan Isaksson hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. FC Kurdistan's Fabian Lundström got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Cup2's Asen Shavarski in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Kurdistan's goalie prevented a goal. In the 36th match minute, FC Kurdistan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Lio to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the FC Kurdistan defense, Tzanko Papukchiev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mats Elg. The FC Kurdistan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mats Elg should have stopped the shot. Iskren Nikolchov might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mats Elg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iskren Nikolchov ran back to his position shaking his head. Agne Britz kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After 44 played minutes, Cup2's Rafail Kamberov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mats Elg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cup2 reached it. Jonas Högberg hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tzanko Papukchiev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mats Elg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iskren Nikolchov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mats Elg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iskren Nikolchov in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bocho Maystorov in the 58th minute of play forced FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Mats Elg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Mats Elg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tzanko Papukchiev. In the 67thth minute of the game Tzanko Papukchiev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Kurdistan's Mats Elg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Asen Shavarski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mats Elg. That made the score 0-6 in the 69 minute of play. In the 75th minute, Asen Shavarski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, FC Kurdistan's Mats Elg got control of the ball when Tzanko Papukchiev tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Cup2 booed when FC Kurdistan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Wik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Tabakov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mats Elg. FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Levent Trasiev came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Kurdistan's Fabian Lundström. But to his dismay, Fabian Lundström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. 90 minutes into the match, Iskren Nikolchov dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mats Elg, 1-7.
