A collision led to CRUZ DEL SUR getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Odol Rojas hit a great ball. Godofredo Mac Intyre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marijus Guzas went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Vidas Lapukas made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when José Ignacio Berguecio sent off a good shot on target. After 8 minutes, Darijus Baltrūnas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Pegasas Siauliai and the CRUZ DEL SUR players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Darijus Baltrūnas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pranas Jacinaitis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the game, Marius Kieža was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Pegasas Siauliai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CRUZ DEL SUR the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Zamorano in the 21st minute of play forced FC Pegasas Siauliai's goalkeeper Vidas Lapukas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Vidas Lapukas managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when CRUZ DEL SUR's José Ignacio Berguecio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vidas Lapukas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Zamorano in the 30th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Manuel Vlahovic during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Ignacio Berguecio got free with Vidas Lapukas in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as CRUZ DEL SUR's Aaron Zamorano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vidas Lapukas. That made the score 1-1 after 46 minutes of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Ignacio Berguecio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Ignacio Berguecio in the 58th minute of play forced FC Pegasas Siauliai's goalkeeper Vidas Lapukas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CRUZ DEL SUR's Godofredo Mac Intyre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pranas Jacinaitis in the 71st minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, CRUZ DEL SUR's goal looked a bit too open when Marijus Guzas came free, but Godofredo Mac Intyre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Podador Arraño kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After 75 played minutes CRUZ DEL SUR got a freekick which was hit by Odol Rojas. When Juan Manuel Vlahovic was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. After 87 played minutes CRUZ DEL SUR got a freekick which was hit by Juan Manuel Vlahovic. If Pranas Jacinaitis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC Pegasas Siauliai booed when CRUZ DEL SUR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xulián Artaño didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Pegasas Siauliai's Adolfas Karanauskas was substituted for Pranas Jacinaitis. 97 minutes into the game, one of CRUZ DEL SUR:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
