Spectators: 7666 (Terracing: 5751, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 153) In the 3rd minute Walery Glogowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piotr Gecionis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Walery Glogowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Piotr Gecionis. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. Wawrzyniec Wykowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Napoleon Wietrzychowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 played minutes CWKS KĘDZIERZYN got a freekick which was hit by Leszek Pisz. Zdzislaw Jerzyk hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute Roch Betonowy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Wykowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Kilarski hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Napoleon Wietrzychowski to strike the kick off in the second half. Wawrzyniec Wykowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roch Betonowy went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krzysztof Maciejewski in the 59th minute of play forced CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Wykowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Napoleon Wietrzychowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's zone, Roch Betonowy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wawrzyniec Wykowski came out of the goal and Roch Betonowy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wawrzyniec Wykowski didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 70th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. After a rather tough play, CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Stanislaw Mios got a free kick in the 77th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Napoleon Wietrzychowski in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wawrzyniec Wykowski saved CWKS KĘDZIERZYN from getting behind. Wawrzyniec Wykowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roch Betonowy went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Śląsk Bytom's Piotr Gecionis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernard Rojewski in the 88th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Śląsk Bytom's goal looked a bit too open when Walery Glogowski came free, but Piotr Gecionis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Śląsk Bytom walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
