The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Hexo Utd got a freekick which was hit by Merūnas Šimaitis. When John Terry fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hexo Utd's protests and gave John Terry a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Hexo Utd's John Terry got a free kick in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the game, Alberto Etxekopar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kristijonas Juzonis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Orlando Rudolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarūnas Laužikas in the 11th minute of play. Margiris Kerpauskas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kristijonas Juzonis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Etxekopar in the 21st minute of the match. Kristijonas Juzonis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Txurio in the 22nd minute of play. Romualdas Misius kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sergio Txurio in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kristijonas Juzonis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Merūnas Šimaitis kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. El ABUELO FC's Alberto Etxekopar got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Hexo Utd booed when El ABUELO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafin Eskuin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hexo Utd's Kristijonas Juzonis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Nel in the 38th minute of play. Sergio Txurio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Kristijonas Juzonis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sergio Txurio made a kick off. Hexo Utd's Kristijonas Juzonis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Hexo Utd from getting a goal against them. Algirdas Narutavičius kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th match minute, Hexo Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romualdas Misius to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Diego Hori sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hexo Utd's Kristijonas Juzonis didn't even have to move. Agustin Nel came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kristijonas Juzonis could save by the left post. In the 62nd match minute, El ABUELO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Txurio to maneuver through the defense. Algirdas Narutavičius kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Alberto Etxekopar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kristijonas Juzonis firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 73 minutes, Diego Hori managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El ABUELO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Hori was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Liutauras Rimkevičius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th match minute, El ABUELO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Dimas to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the game, Margiris Kerpauskas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Orlando Rudolfo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. El ABUELO FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
