Marlin FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Marlin FC's Pablo Orti got a free kick in the 8th minute. Antonio Carrizo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Henry in the 10th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in El Millo de Haedo's zone, Nereo Henry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Carrizo came out of the goal and Nereo Henry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st match minute, Marlin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Orti to maneuver through the defense. Erasmo Ixona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Piearres in the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goalkeeper Erasmo Ixona had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elias Piarres. Antonio Carrizo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Henry, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute, Nereo Henry left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marlin FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, El Millo de Haedo's Sixto Vincent got a free kick in the 34th minute. Antonio Carrizo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Jon in the 37th minute of play. After some careless play in the El Millo de Haedo defense, Domingo Jon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antonio Carrizo. The El Millo de Haedo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antonio Carrizo should have stopped the shot. Antonio Carrizo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anier Eufrasio went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 47th minute, El Millo de Haedo's Raul Piearres ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Erasmo Ixona. Erasmo Ixona yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Timoteo Evis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Timoteo Evis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Antonio Carrizo made a huge save. Antonio Carrizo made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Timoteo Evis sent off a good shot on target. Domingo Abreu's late challenge caught a El Millo de Haedo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingo Abreu helped the player get up and apologised. Domingo Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Raul Piearres charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raul Piearres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Marlin FC booed when El Millo de Haedo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Piearres didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute, Breno Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pablo Orti's shot from long distance in the 64th minute was not bad at all, but El Millo de Haedo's Antonio Carrizo knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Erasmo Ixona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Vincent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ignacio Derwin kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Antonio Carrizo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domingo Jon went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Javier Eguzki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the match, Raul Piearres notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Marlin FC's Erasmo Ixona. Erasmo Ixona was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Breno Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Antonio Carrizo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Jon, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Jon in the 91st minute of play forced El Millo de Haedo's goalkeeper Antonio Carrizo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Marlin FC's Anier Eufrasio got a free kick in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Piearres in the 94th minute of play forced Marlin FC's goalkeeper Erasmo Ixona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The El Millo de Haedo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Marlin FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
