The Śląsk Bytom fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Piotr Gecionis should have stopped the shot. 11 minutes into the game, Napoleon Wietrzychowski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Antonio Carrizo. Napoleon Wietrzychowski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 16th minute, Roch Betonowy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antonio Carrizo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Antonio Carrizo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Krzysztof Maciejewski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 19 minute of play. Krzysztof Maciejewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Krzysztof Maciejewski got free with Antonio Carrizo in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 26 played minutes Śląsk Bytom got a freekick which was hit by Zdzislaw Jerzyk. El Millo de Haedo's Antonio Carrizo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krzysztof Maciejewski in the 30th minute of play. Piotr Gecionis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Azubeli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Igor Kosel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Carrizo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 played minutes Śląsk Bytom got a freekick which was hit by Konstanty Felenak. After 37 played minutes, El Millo de Haedo's Sixto Vincent shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Piotr Gecionis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El Millo de Haedo reached it. 42 minutes into the game, Igor Kosel lined in a short shot 4-1 behind a frustrated Antonio Carrizo. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Napoleon Wietrzychowski made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Roch Betonowy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Carrizo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 52nd minute, Nicolas Azubeli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Śląsk Bytom's Szczepan Klocko got a free kick in the 56th minute. When Roch Betonowy came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Śląsk Bytom fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roch Betonowy couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes into the match, Śląsk Bytom's goalkeeper Piotr Gecionis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Luís Schmidt. Antonio Carrizo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roch Betonowy in the 79th minute of the match. A collision led to El Millo de Haedo getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Pedro Luís Schmidt hit a great ball. Uriel Isusko hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Napoleon Wietrzychowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Carrizo having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Krzysztof Maciejewski made a precise shot to the right of Antonio Carrizo. El Millo de Haedo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. The supporters of Śląsk Bytom booed when El Millo de Haedo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sonny Aae didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Napoleon Wietrzychowski notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of El Millo de Haedo's Antonio Carrizo. Antonio Carrizo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Śląsk Bytom had played much better football throughout.
