El ABUELO FC's Gaudencio Manny proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save El ABUELO FC from getting a goal against them. Gaudencio Manny was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Stig Emander capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Stig Emander really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 32 minutes into the match, Stig Emander notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of El ABUELO FC's Gaudencio Manny. Gaudencio Manny was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute, The Cavern Club's Angel Aballe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gaudencio Manny. Gaudencio Manny yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. 40 minutes into the match, El ABUELO FC's goalkeeper Gaudencio Manny had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angel Aballe. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sergio Txurio to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Cosme Sidro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Cavern Club's Mariano Thomas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save The Cavern Club from getting a goal against them. Gaudencio Manny made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After some careless play in the El ABUELO FC defense, Stig Emander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaudencio Manny. The El ABUELO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaudencio Manny should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute Jose Raebert suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 70 minutes into the game, Sebastian Fliz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Cavern Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El ABUELO FC the free kick. El ABUELO FC's Octavio Argenis was substituted for Jose Raebert. The supporters of El ABUELO FC booed when The Cavern Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Fliz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig Emander in the 75th minute of play forced El ABUELO FC's goalkeeper Gaudencio Manny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaudencio Manny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Aballe in the 87th minute of the match. El ABUELO FC's Gaudencio Manny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Aballe in the 91st minute of play. Gaudencio Manny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Aballe, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Angel Aballe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gaudencio Manny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. The Cavern Club had played much better football throughout.
