After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bir Garip Oyun! Boran Cihannur kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Yağız Uluberk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihail Gherdan, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. A collision led to FC Buzău getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Pompiliu Balaban hit a great ball. Yağız Uluberk was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Mihail Gherdan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mihail Gherdan really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 28th minute of the match FC Buzău got a corner. Bir Garip Oyun's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ionel Lung ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on FC Buzău's corner Ionel Lung fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Yağız Uluberk quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Buzău's Pompiliu Balaban got a free kick in the 31st minute. A collision led to FC Buzău getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Pompiliu Balaban hit a great ball. After 43 minutes of play, FC Buzău's Remus Munteanu made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yağız Uluberk was left in no man's land by his defense there!

In the 51st minute, Remus Munteanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yağız Uluberk was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 62 minutes into the game, FC Buzău's Ionel Lung nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yağız Uluberk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After 66 played minutes Bir Garip Oyun got a freekick which was hit by Göksun Saip. Boran Cihannur hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Yağız Uluberk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihail Gherdan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Munteanu in the 77th minute of play forced Bir Garip Oyun's goalkeeper Yağız Uluberk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bir Garip Oyun's Yağız Uluberk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihail Gherdan in the 79th minute of play. The supporters of FC Buzău booed when Bir Garip Oyun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdulkadir Öğeturk didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 83 minutes of play, FC Buzău's Pompiliu Balaban made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yağız Uluberk was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Remus Munteanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Buzău's supporters rose to their feet, but Remus Munteanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yağız Uluberk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 92 played minutes Bir Garip Oyun got a freekick which was hit by Göksun Saip. FC Buzău walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
