After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Francisco Javier Echazarreta managed to get in a good position for a shot. SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Javier Echazarreta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gvidonas Jakimavičius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juan Jesus Heyboer's late challenge caught a FK Mintis Vilnius's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Jesus Heyboer helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FK Mintis Vilnius booed when SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juan Alberto Zorrilla showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's Juan Alberto Zorrilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigitas Ivoška in the 28th minute of play. Gvidonas Jakimavičius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Shields, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Quintín Ascuí took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gvidonas Jakimavičius. Gvidonas Jakimavičius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. FK Mintis Vilnius's Gvidonas Jakimavičius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save FK Mintis Vilnius from getting a goal against them. If Ugnius Budnikas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Alberto Zorrilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukas Kulpys in the 44th minute of play. SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's Juan Alberto Zorrilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigitas Ivoška in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Quintín Ascuí made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's goal looked a bit too open when Sigitas Ivoška came free, but Juan Alberto Zorrilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Juodis in the 58th minute of play forced SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's goalkeeper Juan Alberto Zorrilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FK Mintis Vilnius's Gvidonas Jakimavičius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Shields in the 60th minute of play. Francisco Javier Echazarreta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 77 minutes into the match, FK Mintis Vilnius's goal looked a bit too open when Isaiás Millas came free, but Gvidonas Jakimavičius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quintín Ascuí in the 78th minute of play forced FK Mintis Vilnius's goalkeeper Gvidonas Jakimavičius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Juan Alberto Zorrilla successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Quintín Ascuí took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gvidonas Jakimavičius. Gvidonas Jakimavičius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. 86 minutes into the match, FK Mintis Vilnius's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Javier Echazarreta came free, but Gvidonas Jakimavičius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Quintín Ascuí recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gvidonas Jakimavičius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quintín Ascuí in the 89th minute of the match. After having played for 94 minutes, Francisco Javier Echazarreta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Javier Echazarreta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FK Mintis Vilnius's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
