The crowd rose to their feet as Mustafa Juodis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yağız Uluberk. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. After 16 minutes of play, FK Mintis Vilnius's Kęstutis Skersys made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After a rather tough play, FK Mintis Vilnius's Adas Komskis got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the game, Bir Garip Oyun's Hızır Samim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gvidonas Jakimavičius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 37th match minute, FK Mintis Vilnius was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Motiejus Saudargis to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Kęstutis Skersys ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yağız Uluberk was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Thanks to some nice moves Kęstutis Skersys could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Yağız Uluberk however easily saved by the left post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sigitas Ivoška stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Ugnius Budnikas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bir Garip Oyun's Yağız Uluberk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Juodis in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kęstutis Skersys in the 65th minute of play forced Bir Garip Oyun's goalkeeper Yağız Uluberk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Ugnius Budnikas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ugnius Budnikas kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. When Bedir Akbayrak fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bir Garip Oyun's protests and gave Bedir Akbayrak a yellow card for diving instead. FK Mintis Vilnius's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
