The audience was convinced that Mariusz Borowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mario Brion was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. After 4 played minutes Zielonka Gdansk got a freekick which was hit by Krzysztof Kluska. Mario Brion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krzysztof Kluska, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariusz Borowski charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mariusz Borowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Zielonka Gdansk getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Mariusz Borowski hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the game, Zielonka Gdansk's Mariusz Borowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mario Brion made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Robertas Lewandowski struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Mario Brion didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zielonka Gdansk. 16 minutes into the match, Mariusz Borowski notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Suipacha FC's Mario Brion. Mario Brion was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hernan Urtsin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Stefan Ciempa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute Krzysztof Kluska shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Brion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Suipacha FC's Mario Brion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krzysztof Kluska in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Carlos Markel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mario Brion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krzysztof Kluska in the 30th minute of play. Kazimierz Glozor hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Mario Brion was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 47 minutes into the match, Suipacha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Krzysztof Kluska came free, but Mario Brion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonardo Arce stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Hernan Urtsin made a precise shot to the right of Stefan Ciempa. Zielonka Gdansk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. When Angelino Hegoi fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Suipacha FC's protests and gave Angelino Hegoi a yellow card for diving instead. Angelino Hegoi kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, Robertas Lewandowski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mario Brion. Robertas Lewandowski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Mario Brion made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariusz Borowski in the 61st minute. Stefan Ciempa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonardo Arce's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Robertas Lewandowski kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 69th match minute, Zielonka Gdansk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janusz Puchlik to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Leonardo Arce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Krzysztof Kluska could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Mario Brion made a huge save. 74 minutes into the match, Suipacha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robertas Lewandowski came free, but Mario Brion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Mariusz Borowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute, Mariusz Borowski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mario Brion. The goal made the score 1-6.
