With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agustin Pacho in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mart Poom saved Vila from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Nigol in the 6th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Carlos Germano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 7 minutes, Alvaro Ignatius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Atlanta and the Vila players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Alvaro Ignatius hit a great ball. If Manole Iosifian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Manole Iosifian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manole Iosifian, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Pedro Rojelio charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Rojelio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 33 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Rojelio. In the 34th minute of the match Adolf Nuume shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Germano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alvaro Ignatius hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Nigol in the 37th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bruno Nigol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Germano was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. If Manole Iosifian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vila were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Club Atlético Atlanta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Manole Iosifian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Carlos Germano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Atlético Atlanta's Carlos Germano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Atlanta from getting a goal against them. Vila made a substitution. Kristofer Üllas replaced Manole Iosifian. After 69 minutes Club Atlético Atlanta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adolf Nuume who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Vila's corner Kaupo Laur fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Carlos Germano quite easily take care of the ball. Alvaro Ignatius made a great header on Club Atlético Atlanta's corner, it was just that Vila's Mart Poom managed to reach the ball for a save. If Agustin Pacho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kristofer Üllas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Carlos Germano when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
