Spectators: 7701 (Terracing: 5777, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alessandro Félix kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute, Agustin Pacho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Germano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alessandro Félix's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Marquinhos Penha charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marquinhos Penha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Buritama Sports:s Gilberto Paraense showed great skill when he stopped Alvaro Ignatius:s penalty. Eustaquio Gerazan lost his temper 15 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Carlos Germano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diguinho Velloso went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 20 minutes, Paulino Frechoso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Atlanta and the Buritama Sports players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th minute, Paulino Frechoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Félix came free, but Carlos Germano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 played minutes Buritama Sports got a freekick which was hit by Aírton Veiga. 26 minutes into the game, Buritama Sports's Breno Koehler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Germano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Sidnei de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the game, Breno Koehler recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlos Germano. Breno Koehler showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilfredo Gaxan to make the kick off. Buritama Sports's Sidnei de Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 54 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Diguinho Velloso came free, but Carlos Germano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Germano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th match minute, Buritama Sports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Netto to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breno Koehler, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. If Aírton Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Diguinho Velloso came free, but Carlos Germano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Germano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diguinho Velloso's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. The corner led Buritama Sports's Diguinho Velloso to fire away a dangerous shot which Carlos Germano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Alvaro Ignatius fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Atlanta's protests and gave Alvaro Ignatius a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Buritama Sports booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Ignatius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Buritama Sports's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
