A collision led to Cylon getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. 莫义林 hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by 龙钢超 in the 10th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Carlos Germano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atlético Atlanta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 庞桦景 was slow to take the kick. During this time Cylon's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by 龙钢超 in the 13th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Carlos Germano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 minutes, 孙光亦 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cylon and the Club Atlético Atlanta players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28thth minute of the game 龙钢超 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Atlanta's Carlos Germano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cylon's 龙钢超 got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A throw-in in the 35th minute of the game was made by Dionisio Monico with Joaquin Fonso as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Carlos Germano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Agustin Pacho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 龙钢超 in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Germano saved Club Atlético Atlanta from getting behind. Agustin Pacho took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 龙枫博. 龙枫博 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Carlos Germano made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when 龙钢超 sent off a good shot on target. In the 51st match minute, Cylon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 姚广邦 to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Carlos Germano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 姚广邦. 龙枫博 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Pacho in the 64th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 姚广邦 during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when Cylon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. 姚广邦 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cylon made a substitution. 叶建超 replaced 傅志骏. 姚广邦 hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as 龙钢超 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlos Germano. That made the score 1-1 in the 73 minute of play. Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 龙钢超, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Cylon's 龙钢超 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Germano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 81 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Frechoso. Club Atlético Atlanta's Carlos Germano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Atlanta from getting a goal against them. Alvaro Ignatius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when Cylon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. 孙光亦 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 龙钢超 struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Carlos Germano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cylon. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
