The crowd rose to their feet as Zula Knopek kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlos Germano. That made the score 4-0 in the 41 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Witomir Marczyniec got free with Carlos Germano in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alvaro Ignatius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Yaşar Nuri Hendekli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Agustin Pacho to make the kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yaşar Nuri Hendekli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's Paulino Frechoso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yaşar Nuri Hendekli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Eustaquio Gerazan hit a great ball. Carlos Germano came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Witomir Marczyniec. But to his dismay, Witomir Marczyniec quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 78th minute, Club Atlético Atlanta's Paulino Frechoso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yaşar Nuri Hendekli. Yaşar Nuri Hendekli yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-2. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin fully deserved thier win.
