Buritama Sports's Gilberto Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Iruinea in the 16th minute of play. Buritama Sports's supporters rose to their feet, but Diguinho Velloso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Roderigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Toninho Freitas hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, Buritama Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Sotil came free, but Gilberto Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

A collision led to Bicicleta F.C. getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Filippo Degrassi hit a great ball. Bernardino Edwardo kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Alessandro Félix managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buritama Sports's supporters rose to their feet, but Alessandro Félix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The Buritama Sports fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Buritama Sports's Alessandro Félix looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Bicicleta F.C. getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Segundo Feliu hit a great ball. After 89 played minutes Bicicleta F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Sotil. Fausto Roderigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Buritama Sports had won after a very even match.
