The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Buritama Sports booed when Bispmotala BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claes Majman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Bispmotala BK defense, Alessandro Félix kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Wennerlund. The Bispmotala BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Wennerlund should have stopped the shot. 14 minutes into the match, Buritama Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Claes Majman came free, but Gilberto Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute of the match, Eric Gadd tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gilberto Paraense saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 21st minute Bispmotala BK were awarded a corner. Gabriel Ståhlman went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Bispmotala BK's corner Gabriel Ståhlman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gilberto Paraense quite easily take care of the ball. In the 24th minute Alessandro Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Wennerlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bispmotala BK's Sebastian Wennerlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Félix in the 25th minute of play. When Uno Busk fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bispmotala BK's protests and gave Uno Busk a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bispmotala BK's Uno Busk got a free kick in the 26th minute. The supporters of Bispmotala BK booed when Buritama Sports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aírton Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bispmotala BK's Eric Gadd got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Gabriel Ståhlman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilberto Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Andreasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 played minutes Buritama Sports got a freekick which was hit by Diguinho Velloso. In the 43rd minute, Bispmotala BK's Eric Gadd dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Gilberto Paraense made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Claes Majman sent off a good shot on target. 46 minutes into the match, Buritama Sports's goalkeeper Gilberto Paraense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claes Majman. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alessandro Félix to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Alessandro Félix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Félix in the 55th minute of play forced Bispmotala BK's goalkeeper Sebastian Wennerlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Wennerlund made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Breno Koehler sent off a good shot on target. Thor Jönsson's late challenge caught a Buritama Sports's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thor Jönsson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute, Thor Jönsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardo Netto hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Gilberto Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claes Majman, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Sidnei de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Wennerlund having to interfere. A collision led to Bispmotala BK getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Uno Busk hit a great ball. Bispmotala BK's Sebastian Wennerlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Félix in the 86th minute of play. Diguinho Velloso succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 89th playminute. Sebastian Wennerlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Félix in the 92nd minute of play.
