Gilberto Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Mesquita, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 27th minute, Diguinho Velloso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Buritama Sports fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Alessandro Félix received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fernando Miguel came out and tried to block the shot, but Alessandro Félix slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 32nd minute. Breno Koehler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Fernando Miguel made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alessandro Félix in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Miguel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 43 played minutes Futbol Club RRFV got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Alberto de Sousa. Fernando Miguel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Breno Koehler in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Alberto de Sousa was the one to do the kick off. Futbol Club RRFV's Fernando Miguel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breno Koehler in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Alfredão Ramalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Breno Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Alessandro Félix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Miguel having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Buritama Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Alberto de Sousa came free, but Gilberto Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
