Spectators: 7745 (Terracing: 5810, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bruno Nigol started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Manole Iosifian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Miguel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Nigol in the 8th minute of play. Manole Iosifian kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Carlos Alberto de Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mart Poom having to interfere. Dedê Freire hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Manole Iosifian hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the game, Dedê Freire was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Futbol Club RRFV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vila the free kick. Dedê Freire hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Nigol in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Miguel saved Futbol Club RRFV from getting behind. With a little luck, Futbol Club RRFV's Fernando Miguel got control of the ball when Bruno Nigol tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 27 played minutes Futbol Club RRFV got a freekick which was hit by Dedê Freire. When Bruno Nigol came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Vila fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Nigol couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute, Manole Iosifian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Nigol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Miguel having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Vila's Bruno Nigol got a free kick in the 37th minute. The supporters of Futbol Club RRFV booed when Vila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergo Lepp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dedê Freire, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Alberto de Sousa was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Nigol in the 53rd minute of play forced Futbol Club RRFV's goalkeeper Fernando Miguel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Vila's goalkeeper Mart Poom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vila made a substitution. Kristofer Üllas replaced Manole Iosifian. After having played for 70 minutes, Luís Guilherme Mesquita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Futbol Club RRFV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Guilherme Mesquita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Diamantino Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mart Poom having to interfere. Dorival do Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Mart Poom made a huge save. Kristofer Üllas kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Vila's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Diamantino Senna scored to the left of an out of position Mart Poom, making the score, 0-1. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Futbol Club RRFV walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
