Christian Siqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. A collision led to Buritama Sports getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Breno Koehler hit a great ball. Club Atlético Atlanta's Alvaro Ignatius was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gilberto Paraense in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gilberto Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Ignatius, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 23 minutes of play, Buritama Sports's Sidnei de Andrade made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Germano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sidnei de Andrade struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Carlos Germano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buritama Sports. 29 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Diguinho Velloso came free, but Carlos Germano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 minutes, Dionisio Monico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Atlanta and the Buritama Sports players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Monico. In the 38th minute Alessandro Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Germano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Aírton Veiga came free, but Carlos Germano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breno Koehler in the 43rd minute of play. After 44 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Frechoso. If Alessandro Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Frechoso. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sidnei de Andrade stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Diguinho Velloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Germano having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Buritama Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Frechoso came free, but Gilberto Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilfredo Gaxan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilberto Paraense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. If Sidnei de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute Alessandro Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Germano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulino Frechoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulino Frechoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Gilberto Paraense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sidnei de Andrade in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Germano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 85 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Carlos Germano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Breno Koehler. In the 87th minute Diguinho Velloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Germano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Germano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Félix in the 89th minute of the match. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidnei de Andrade in the 91st minute of play. Gaston Joanes hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Buritama Sports played a much better game than Club Atlético Atlanta and deserved their victory. The Club Atlético Atlanta players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
