The audience was convinced that Breno Koehler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christer Kullander was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breno Koehler in the 16th minute of play forced Team Rocco's goalkeeper Christer Kullander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Buritama Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Elof Mager came free, but Gilberto Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Buritama Sports's Breno Koehler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christer Kullander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th match minute, Buritama Sports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aírton Veiga to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Sidnei de Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sidnei de Andrade made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Team Rocco got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Kalfhage. If Breno Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Breno Koehler sped through Team Rocco's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Christer Kullander. Team Rocco's Ivan Ström was substituted for Viggo Mellbad. After 65 played minutes Buritama Sports got a freekick which was hit by Marquinhos Penha. After having played for 68 minutes, Fredrik Bjurström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Team Rocco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fredrik Bjurström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Team Rocco's goal looked a bit too open when Diguinho Velloso came free, but Christer Kullander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Breno Koehler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Christer Kullander made a huge save. Elof Mager fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Paraense having to interfere. Gilberto Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrik Bjurström in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 87thth minute of the game Lennart Ödman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buritama Sports's Gilberto Paraense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gilberto Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Bjurström, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute, Marquinhos Penha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilberto Paraense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivan Ström went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
