Granicerul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Astillero del Guayas the free kick. In the 13th match minute, Astillero del Guayas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zuberoa Sanguino to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Eusebiu Ianculescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Long Yuan De was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Thanks to some nice moves Codrin Olaru could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Long Yuan De however easily saved by the left post. Octavian Bebeșel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dani Galiana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Granicerul's Octavian Bebeșel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodney Cosca in the 67th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Granicerul fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! In the 74th minute, Rodney Cosca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Codrin Olaru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Granicerul's supporters rose to their feet, but Codrin Olaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Long Yuan De breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Codrin Olaru could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Long Yuan De however easily saved by the left post. In the 81st minute Granicerul were awarded a corner. Laurențiu Ciociu went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Granicerul's corner Laurențiu Ciociu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Long Yuan De quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Astillero del Guayas's Rodney Cosca got a free kick in the 81st minute. Valeriu Uduleanu came free with the goalkeeper in the 89th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Long Yuan De could save by the left post. In the 89th minute, Granicerul's Valeriu Uduleanu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Octavian Bebeșel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Landeras in the 94th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Codrin Olaru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Granicerul's supporters rose to their feet, but Codrin Olaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Long Yuan De breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Astillero del Guayas lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
