In the 16th minute Danilo Martinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avram Golescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of ManagerZone Academy booed when Scorpions -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandru Zăvoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, ManagerZone Academy's Moises Marcones got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Natalio Jacob could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Avram Golescu made a huge save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dan Tinu to make the kick off. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Scorpions -MM-'s goalie and right to Marcelo Nofre. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Scorpions -MM-'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. ManagerZone Academy walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
