Gustavo Gustavson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvar Kollberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Gustavo Gustavson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnold Schwarzenegger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute Arnold Schwarzenegger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Gustavson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MAFFIAN's Kjell-Arne Hultman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save MAFFIAN from getting a goal against them. Kjell-Arne Hultman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Magalhães in the 25th minute of the match. Jim Nilsson charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jim Nilsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes MAFFIAN got a freekick which was hit by Jim Nilsson. Kjell-Arne Hultman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Osasun in the 36th minute of the match. Lucas Sjödin charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Sjödin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Lucas Sjödin got a free kick in the 37th minute. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Sten Joamets quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jim Nilsson, made in the 46th minute of the game. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jörn Gustafsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Arnold Schwarzenegger could shoot a difficult shot in the 51st minute, which Gustavo Gustavson however easily saved by the left post. 54 minutes into the match, MAFFIAN's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Sjödin came free, but Kjell-Arne Hultman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Sjödin was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 55th match minute, New Joinville - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Sjödin to maneuver through the defense. MAFFIAN's Kjell-Arne Hultman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Magalhães in the 59th minute of play. Arnold Schwarzenegger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Gustavson having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in MAFFIAN's zone, Igor Magalhães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kjell-Arne Hultman came out of the goal and Igor Magalhães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kjell-Arne Hultman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Magalhães in the 85th minute of play. After 88 played minutes MAFFIAN got a freekick which was hit by Arnold Schwarzenegger. The throw-in from Jonatan Högström in the 91st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by New Joinville - FSCMZ's Sten Joamets. MAFFIAN were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing New Joinville - FSCMZ to leave the ground with a draw.
