The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raymond Huisingh during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thomas Hoogsteen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Osasun in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of ASV Muziekwijk booed when New Joinville - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xandinho Thuram didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ateş Direnç fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New Joinville - FSCMZ's protests and gave Ateş Direnç a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute, Angelo Osasun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Hoogsteen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. ASV Muziekwijk's Thomas Hoogsteen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo in the 25th minute of play. Dennis Hekman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Gustavo Gustavson made a huge save. In the 43rd minute, Ateş Direnç ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Hoogsteen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 45th match minute, New Joinville - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronnie Xande to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Gustavson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reinier Polak in the 46th minute. The ASV Muziekwijk players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ateş Direnç was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as New Joinville - FSCMZ's Angelo Osasun slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thomas Hoogsteen. That made the score 0-3 after 52 minutes of play. 55 minutes into the match, Reinier Polak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustavo Gustavson. In the 59th minute of the match Reinier Polak sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustavo Gustavson skillfully saved the ball. In the 71st minute Reinier Polak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Gustavson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Gustavo Gustavson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Hekman in the 73rd minute of play. After having played for 74 minutes, Angelo Osasun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Joinville - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Osasun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The ASV Muziekwijk supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching New Joinville - FSCMZ's performance.
