The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabiano Tatangelo got free with Robbin Panhuyse in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bianco Carozza in the 58th minute of play forced Fox Hunting Squad's goalkeeper Robbin Panhuyse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robbin Panhuyse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beppe Rivera in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to Gladiator FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. After 67 played minutes Fox Hunting Squad got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Tael. 71 minutes into the match, Fox Hunting Squad's goal looked a bit too open when Beppe Rivera came free, but Robbin Panhuyse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th match minute, Fox Hunting Squad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quillian Lambrecht to maneuver through the defense. Fox Hunting Squad were furious when Karl Van Gorpt was red carded, 95 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of Fox Hunting Squad:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gladiator FC:s goal. The referee gave Gladiator FC a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fabiano Tatangelo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fox Hunting Squad's Robbin Panhuyse. 2-1.
