But to his dismay, Dennis Hekman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The wind increased when Reinier Polak made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, ASV Muziekwijk's Toni van Beukering got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After having played for 53 minutes, Vladislav Burov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arsenal F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladislav Burov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thomas Hoogsteen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Proskurin, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The Arsenal F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Arsenal F.C.'s Mark Proskurin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Arsenal F.C.'s Ivan Belozerov got control of the ball when Dennis Hekman tried to sneak it across the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Arsenal F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Reinier Polak came free, but Ivan Belozerov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Arsenal F.C. had won after a very even match.
