The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, ASV Muziekwijk's Toni van Beukering got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Fox Hunting Squad's Robbin Panhuyse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinier Polak in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinier Polak in the 7th minute of play forced Fox Hunting Squad's goalkeeper Robbin Panhuyse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rens Waterloos hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. The long shot by Reinier Polak in the 10th minute really tested Robbin Panhuyse's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 12th minute, Kasper De Cat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Hoogsteen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 17th minute of the match, Mariano Bombarda tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Robbin Panhuyse saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thomas Hoogsteen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kasper De Cat's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Thomas Hoogsteen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorg Vrijdags went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 27 minutes into the game, Toni van Beukering was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ASV Muziekwijk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fox Hunting Squad the free kick. After a rather tough play, ASV Muziekwijk's Toni van Beukering got a free kick in the 27th minute. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Mariano Bombarda took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Robbin Panhuyse to make any attempt to save it. Robbin Panhuyse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Bombarda in the 34th minute of play. Thomas Hoogsteen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorg Vrijdags, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomas Hoogsteen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorg Vrijdags in the 37th minute of the match. Jorg Vrijdags hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Frits Klasens hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. A collision led to Fox Hunting Squad getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Eddy Volders hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorg Vrijdags was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Kasper De Cat kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thomas Hoogsteen. That made the score 1-3 in the 62 minute of play. Robbin Panhuyse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Hekman in the 66th minute of play. Robbin Panhuyse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Hekman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fox Hunting Squad's Robbin Panhuyse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Bombarda in the 71st minute of play. Robbin Panhuyse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinier Polak in the 82nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Jorg Vrijdags managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fox Hunting Squad's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorg Vrijdags was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Hoogsteen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fox Hunting Squad's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
