The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Reino Narusson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urmet Kapten came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Xande Kahn could save by the left post. After 22 minutes, Maarek Poltimäe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Kopli and the New Joinville - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of New Joinville - FSCMZ booed when FC Kopli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maarek Poltimäe didn't get a good kick on the ball. New Joinville - FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo in the 24th minute. Ulryk Marczyniec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xandinho Kane in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xandinho Kane in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulryk Marczyniec saved FC Kopli from getting behind. After some careless play in the FC Kopli defense, Xandinho Kane kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulryk Marczyniec. The FC Kopli fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulryk Marczyniec should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Xandinho Kane put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ulryk Marczyniec. In the 35th match minute, New Joinville - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marquinhos Jacinto to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Xandinho Kane left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New Joinville - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Xandinho Kane got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Kopli's Ulryk Marczyniec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xandinho Kane in the 44th minute of play. Allen Obando kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the game, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Xandinho Kane nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ulryk Marczyniec made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Allen Obando to strike the kick off in the second half. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Geovânio Viana was substituted for Ronnie Xande. Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 72 played minutes New Joinville - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo. Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Lembit Õigus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, FC Kopli's Ulryk Marczyniec got control of the ball when Angelo Osasun tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Kopli's Ulryk Marczyniec proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save FC Kopli from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute Angelo Osasun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulryk Marczyniec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulryk Marczyniec was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Angelo Osasun showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 94 minute of play.
