After some careless play in the PLURAL defense, Hristo Stoichkov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Ramos. The PLURAL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Ramos should have stopped the shot. José Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hristo Stoichkov in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, PLURAL's Aloísio Leitão got a free kick in the 25th minute. PLURAL's José Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Gaizko in the 27th minute of play. Caio Caiado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Ramos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Celio's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Hristo Stoichkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PLURAL's José Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hristo Stoichkov in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Caio Caiado to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Ripa FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Camilo Urtsua hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caio Caiado in the 57th minute of play forced Ripa FC's goalkeeper Martin Miro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, PLURAL's José Ramos got control of the ball when Hristo Stoichkov tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61st minute Ripa FC were awarded a corner. Anselmo Atarrabi went to the cornerflag to take it. Lucas Bernardi made a great header on Ripa FC's corner, it was just that PLURAL's José Ramos managed to reach the ball for a save. Jonas Chale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. José Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ripa FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Camilo Urtsua hit a great ball. Aristides Machado, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to PLURAL getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Veríssimo Salgueiro hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Luis Celio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nuno Taveira during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luis Celio struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. José Ramos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ripa FC. In the 89th minute Anselmo Atarrabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ripa FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
