Seating: 1802, VIP seats: 156) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Freeman Mächler got the match started through his kick off. After 2 played minutes Silver Play 2 got a freekick which was hit by Amado Toro. Aquilino Prejun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freeman Mächler in the 5th minute of the match. Akira Schmid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blasi Cerreri, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. When Andres Ambühl fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Espen Steelers's protests and gave Andres Ambühl a yellow card for diving instead. After 11 played minutes Espen Steelers got a freekick which was hit by Andres Ambühl. In the 12th match minute, Espen Steelers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl von Planta to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Silver Play 2 booed when Espen Steelers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Ambühl didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 16 minutes, Carlos Carrio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Silver Play 2's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Carrio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Freeman Mächler's late challenge caught a Silver Play 2's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freeman Mächler helped the player get up and apologised. Freeman Mächler kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Carlos Carrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aquilino Prejun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaetano Rothstein in the 23rd minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Silver Play 2's goalkeeper Aquilino Prejun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raphael Aregger. The audience thought a goal was coming when Harrison Muntwyler got free with Aquilino Prejun in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Carrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akira Schmid having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Åke Ugla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Akira Schmid was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aquilino Prejun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaetano Rothstein in the 41st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Silver Play 2's Gonzalo Boren got a free kick in the 44th minute. Freeman Mächler scored 1-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aquilino Prejun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Åke Ugla made a kick off. Falko Reimann's late challenge caught a Silver Play 2's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aquilino Prejun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaetano Rothstein in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harrison Muntwyler in the 60th minute of play forced Silver Play 2's goalkeeper Aquilino Prejun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquilino Prejun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harrison Muntwyler, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute Freeman Mächler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Prejun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Åke Ugla in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Akira Schmid prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th minute Andres Ambühl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Prejun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Espen Steelers getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Gaetano Rothstein hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Espen Steelers players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
